PayrollX ("we", "our", "us") operates the PayrollX platform including mobile applications, web portals, and APIs at payrollx.in. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account data: company name, contact name, email, phone, address, and login identifiers.
• Employee data: names, attendance records, leave requests, salary-related data, photos for attendance, and documents you upload.
• Technical data: device tokens for push notifications, IP addresses, app version, and usage logs.
• Payment data: transaction references from Razorpay (we do not store full card numbers).

2. How we use information

• Provide HR, attendance, payroll, and related features.
• Authenticate users and send OTP/login codes.
• Process subscriptions and support requests.
• Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

3. Location data

When GEO attendance is enabled, the employee app may collect location coordinates at punch-in/out for verification. Employers configure geofences and policies in settings.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers (hosting, SMS, email, payment gateways) only as needed to operate the service, or when required by law.

5. Retention

We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion subject to contractual and legal obligations.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, and secure hosting. No method of transmission is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding login codes sent to your devices.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of certain data by contacting support@payrollx.in. Indian users may have rights under applicable data protection laws.
